Ram's compact van is back. The 2027 ProMaster City is bigger than the one that left after 2022, fits a pallet between the wheel wells and arrives at dealers in early 2027.

The cargo van seats two and comes in panel and window versions. The passenger wagon seats five, or eight with an optional removable third row, for crews, shuttles and small teams. Both come in Tradesman and SLT trims. At the back, choose 180-degree swing doors with a dock-loading mode, or an optional liftgate. The sliding side door opening is more than 36 in wide and 48 in tall.
The ProMaster City is built by Stellantis partner TOFAŞ in Bursa, Turkey, with North American upfitting at Stellantis's Baltimore Transformation Center in Maryland. Ram announced the van in March 2026, opened orders in the second half of 2026, and expects it at dealers in the first quarter of 2027.
The original ProMaster City left the U.S. after the 2022 model year, and Ford ended the Transit Connect after 2023. Ram says the new ProMaster City will be the only midsize commercial van on sale in the U.S. If you need more space than it offers, the full-size Ram ProMaster holds up to 524 cu ft.
