Wheelbases are 118, 136 and 159 in, plus a 159-in extended-length body on the 3500, with up to 13 ft of cargo floor. The 56-in width between the wheel wells takes a 4x8 sheet of plywood flat, and the rear doors swing open 260 degrees.

With no driveshaft running to the rear axle, the ProMaster's cargo floor sits just 21 in off the ground, the lowest in its class. That means less lifting for every package, toolbox and dolly, and a lower step for crews in and out all day. The tradeoff: Ram does not offer all-wheel drive or a diesel on the ProMaster, while Ford's Transit offers AWD and the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter offers both.

ProMaster Vanlife. Ram is adding a factory camper-ready ProMaster on the 2500 and 3500 high-roof, 159-in wheelbase, with swivel front seats, auxiliary switches, LED lighting, an overhead shelf and a glass sliding door.
ProMaster City returns. The compact van comes back as a 2027 model, due at dealers in the first quarter of 2027. It uses a 166-hp 1.6L turbo four with an 8-speed automatic, carries more than 2,000 lb, holds more than 167 cubic feet and fits a pallet between the wheel wells. It comes as a cargo van or a passenger wagon that seats five, or eight with an optional third row. Contact us to reserve one.
The electric ProMaster EV uses a 110-kWh battery and front-wheel drive, with up to 164 miles of combined range in the cargo van, up to 3,170 lb of payload and DC fast charging at up to 150 kW.
