Thank you Brandon for your time in showing and explaining to me how to replace the cabin air filter in my ‘25 Ram 2500 megacab.

Great service, as always, from Service Writer, Bryan Rossiter. He was able to expedite the work, so I received my car back sooner than promised. Upon check in, he clearly explained the work to be done. I would recommend Elk Grove Chrysler, Jeep Dodge for service.

My recall appointment was fast and easy this time. I was happy to be in and out within an hour. Aaron and Brandon were welcoming and friendly.

Checked in to get a starter problem diagnosed with expectation I'd have to come back to repair another day. Advisor William couldn't have been better, got me in right away (it's 70 miles from my residence but the closest and best repair center) and then herded my repair through faster than it seemed possible. He was sensitive to my age/issues - even offered to get me food when the time extended! I do appreciate William and all the excellent technicians here at Lasher's service center in Elk Grove. Have gone to other dealer centers but never got the level of service offered here!

Big red is the man! Rear diff and brake fluid flush. In and out within a couple of hours. Couldn’t have had any better service. Thank you!

Had emergency warranty work from out of state. BIG RED IS THE MAN. Has an amazing sense of humor and bright attitude. Great at communicating and making sure you are taken care of. I truly cant recommend him enough.

Fast oil change.

I was help right away. My was checked in and worked on very quickly. Over all everything went well.

Aaron was great. The service was on time and well done. The car was clean and there was great communication while the car was in the shop.

Great customer service and great attention to detail!

37 days to replace my battery. Almost no updates unless I called repeatedly. No loaner car available. I'm out of pocket $1500 for rental until I can get reimbursed because I HAD to rent at the higher dealership rates. Car was returned filthy from sitting on lot for a month and greasy fingerprints from repair staff. Was just handed keys and expected to locate my own car somewhere on service lot. Plenty of service staff always around, but from young to senior, all are busy talking to each other and barely paying attention to customers.

Had a Top Tier recent experience with Elk Grove CDJR! Took care of my vehicle service Friday morning, I was in/out within hours and even provided me with a shuttle service to my home and back to the dealership when my vehicle was ready! Great thorough service and everything was expedited, they also had plenty of scheduling options in advance. 5 Stars!

William provided an exceptional experience. Very quick turnaround. I highly recommend Elk Grove Dodge. I have been taking my vehicles there since 2009 with great service and friendly staff.

Had some recall work done. No cost, but nothing special stood out. Next round of work will cost me a lot more.

I can’t say enough about this service department and in particular “Big Red”. He put great care and effort into my out of warranty engine failure and helped a very bad situation much better. He went to bat for me with Ram and got me some help. His communication was fantastic and as a service manager myself, I was impressed at his honest, caring nature. 10 out of 10 for this shop.

Gabriel provided excellent assistance, and the staff was consistently accommodating, ensuring all my needs were met. The entire process, from arrival to vehicle collection, was handled efficiently and professionally.

Let’s start off by the woman that answered the phone when I called in to advise them that the truck was being towed in. She advised me to make sure the drive gave them a contact number so they would be able to get ahold of me. What a good shop would do is to get all the information possible before the vehicle arrives. Contact information, vehicle information and why is it being towed in. This allows your service writer to have a head start and frees them up to make a more impressionable experience. The service writer was not very experienced either. He could not explain in simple words what’s the technician found or what they and how does that part work. When quoting the brakes he fumbled around with trying to explain why it needed brakes. Said it had 2 mm left and they need to be replaced. The proper way would be to explain how many mm they start with and what they are now. Then explain what could happen if this wasn’t addressed soon and what damaged could occur. Never once did he explain what the brake rotors mic out at and what is the discard number was. Was the rotors being replace or surfaced? What else is being done for over two thousand dollars for a front brake job. When I said that seem odd the they were at 50% in January when the tires were replaced that seem excessive amount of wear. He just dropped it and moved on. The advisor was polite and did keep me in the loop of what was going on. Over all I got the vehicle back in a timely matter. This experience was just ok. Could I beat the price hands down yes. Was it an experience that I would rave about to anyone no. Did the staff at any point make me feel my business mattered to them no. This is not ment to bash anyone but to make your dealership better. Had there been a wow factor from the start and it carried through till the end that is what a legendary experience would have been.

Lincoln (service advisor) is the best!

I had an excellent experience working with Brandon, my service advisor. He communicated with me throughout the entire process and kept me informed every step of the way. He was clear and transparent about the diagnosis and pricing, which made the whole experience easy and stress-free. Brandon provided excellent customer service, and I really appreciated his professionalism and communication. Highly recommend!

Took my 2023 Dodge Ram 2500 truck in for an oil change. Was met by Brandon when I walked into the service area. He was courteous and quick in checking me in. The turnaround time for the multipoint inspection and oil change was 1-1.5 hours and they actually got it done quicker than that. They sent me a video of the inspection which was pretty cool. I would definitely go back and recommend Elk Grove Dodge and would ask to work with Brandon.

Took my jeep wrangler in due to a recall. Scheduling was easy and fast as was the service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I just moved here from Illinois and think I have found my new service department.

I purchased 2 oil changes (synthetic oil) and used one for that days service…took an hour and my vehicle was completed as promised.

Big Red in the service department helped me out and kept me informed the whole time. Great expiration ask for him !

Excellent service they helped me with with the recall on my truck , Folsom lake Dodge gave me the run around for two days , Elk Grove Dodge had me fixed in a hour . Definitely make the trip to Elk Grove if you need anything for a dodge

The service department was very helpful and friendly...when I was able to contact them. My complaint is that they never followed up with status when they said they would. We were pretty much in the dark the whole week they were working on our vehicle. But our service provider did follow thru on everything he said he would do which was much appreciated!! And helped us arrange the rental car.

Great experience, took my 22 ram truck in for some diagnostics. They found three problems with the truck. I had taken it to another dealership where they told me they didn’t find anything wrong. Brandon the service advisor and the mechanic were able to diagnose it correctly and resolve the issues and get the claim submitted and approved through extended warranty. The whole team was helpful and giving me exact details on the progress. Would recommend.

Best service yet here at the Jeep dealership thanks to Big Red! Hope to request him on future service appts as well. He made everything seamless for my new duplicate key, kept open communication, and delivered quicker than estimated time.

I was able to schedule an appointment at my convenience, and the service was completed quickly as promised. I used their shuttle service and the driver was very personable and everything went smoothly.

Supposedly Inspected Vehicle — Problems Almost Immediately I purchased a 2017 GMC Yukon XL Denali from Elk Grove Dodge CDJR for approximately $30,000 and was told the vehicle had been inspected. Unfortunately, what happened almost immediately after purchase makes me seriously question how thorough that inspection was. Shortly after purchase, I dealt with suspension/clunking issues, a track bar issue, tire rubbing, running board damage/exposed wiring, an oil leak that ultimately required two repair attempts, significant uneven front tire wear, speedometer calibration issues, and concerns involving the aftermarket lift and suspension. Approximately THREE WEEKS after purchasing the Yukon, I had to replace all four tires after discovering significant uneven shoulder wear on the fronts. The replacement set retails for approximately $2,500. Thankfully, America’s Tire provided excellent customer service and reduced my actual out-of-pocket cost to approximately $1,590 because of certificates I had from tires purchased for my previous vehicle. The dealership that actually sold me the Yukon, however, has decided to contribute $0 toward the tires. I was informed that the tire situation was discussed with Mick, who decided there would be no reimbursement because the front tires measured 4/32 and 5/32 and were still considered “roadworthy.” My issue isn’t simply whether the tires technically met the minimum requirement to remain on the road. It’s how I ended up replacing all four tires approximately three weeks after purchasing a supposedly inspected $30,000 vehicle. The dealership eventually had the Yukon aligned, which I appreciate, but correcting the alignment afterward doesn’t undo the abnormal wear that had already occurred. The speedometer was also off approximately 5–7 MPH when the vehicle was sold to me because of the oversized tires/calibration. I ultimately purchased my own calibration tool to correct it. The dealership contributed toward the tool, but didn’t even cover half of the cost. I didn’t install the lift. I didn’t install the oversized tires. I didn’t create the calibration issue. The dealership sold me the Yukon in this configuration. Between multiple visits, the Yukon has spent approximately 15 DAYS OR MORE back at the dealership. That’s on top of the time I’ve spent bringing it in, picking it up, documenting problems and repeatedly following up. To be fair, they have repaired some issues. The oil leak eventually appears to have been resolved after the second repair, and they had the alignment completed. I appreciate the things they have addressed. But the overall experience matters. Within weeks of purchasing a supposedly inspected ~$30,000 vehicle, I was replacing all four tires. I purchased my own tool to correct the speedometer. The oil leak required two repair attempts. The Yukon has spent approximately 15+ days back at the dealership. After all of that, the decision from Mick regarding the tires is $0 because they were still considered “roadworthy.” If Mick is ultimately making these decisions, I would ask him to consider the entire customer experience, rather than looking at the tire issue in isolation. I understand that used vehicles aren’t perfect, but I did not expect this amount of expense, inconvenience and time at the dealership almost immediately after purchasing a vehicle that was supposedly inspected. I strongly recommend having any used vehicle from this dealership independently inspected before purchasing it, especially if it has aftermarket modifications. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dealership.

I was told my vehicle would be ready "the next day" four separate times before they finally provided a rental. To make matters worse, every update only happened because I reached out first—no one proactively contacted me once. I understand that unexpected delays happen, but keeping the customer informed is critical so we can plan accordingly. In an age of text messages and automated updates, there is no excuse for leaving a customer completely in the dark for a week.

Same day service! Good customer support. Everything went as planned. I was even offered To buy a discounted oil change for next service.

Great experience with the service department at Elk Grove Dodge. I brought my vehicle in for a transmission service, including the fluid and filter change, along with a brake fluid flush. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and did a great job explaining the work being performed. Everything was completed properly and the vehicle is running great. I appreciate having a dealership service department I can trust to handle important maintenance correctly. I’ll definitely be returning to Elk Grove Dodge for future service. Highly recommend!
