One Charger, two ways to power it: the gas Sixpack with a twin-turbo inline-6, or the all-electric Charger Daytona. Both come as a 2-door or 4-door with standard AWD and a rear liftback hatch. Here is how they compare, what the numbers are, and what changed for 2027.
For 2027 the Charger comes in three trim families, each available as a 2-door or 4-door, with a Plus version as the upper trim of each. The Daytona R/T is no longer offered; the electric Charger is Scat Pack only.
| Model | Power | Torque | 0-60 mph* | Quarter mile* |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Charger Sixpack R/T (gas) | 420 hp | 468 lb-ft | 4.6 sec | 12.9 sec |
| Charger Sixpack Scat Pack (gas) | 550 hp | 531 lb-ft | 3.9 sec | 12.2 sec |
| Charger Daytona Scat Pack (electric) | Up to 670 hp with PowerShot | 627 lb-ft | 3.3 sec | 11.5 sec |
*Dodge estimates. Every 2027 Charger is built at Windsor Assembly in Ontario, Canada, where 2027 production began in July 2026.
The Sixpack replaced the HEMI V8 Charger. Both trims use the 3.0L Hurricane twin-turbo inline-6 with an 8-speed automatic and standard AWD, plus an on-demand RWD mode. The R/T's Standard Output engine makes 420 hp and 468 lb-ft, 50 hp and 73 lb-ft more than the old 5.7L HEMI R/T. The Scat Pack's High Output engine runs up to 30 psi of boost for 550 hp and 531 lb-ft, 65 hp more than the old 6.4L Scat Pack.
| 2026 EPA estimates (AWD) | City / hwy / combined | Fuel |
|---|---|---|
| Sixpack R/T | 17 / 26 / 20 mpg | Regular |
| Sixpack Scat Pack | 16 / 23 / 19 mpg | Premium |
These are 2026 EPA figures. EPA had not posted 2027 Sixpack ratings as of late October 2026.
The Daytona Scat Pack uses a 400-volt, dual-motor AWD system and a 100.5-kWh battery. It makes up to 670 hp and 627 lb-ft, a figure that includes PowerShot, which adds 40 hp for 10 seconds at the push of a button. EPA range depends on the tires fitted:
| Tires | EPA range | MPGe city / hwy / combined |
|---|---|---|
| 305/35ZR20 all around | 267 mi | 93 / 79 / 86 |
| 325/35ZR20 rear, all-season | 241 mi | 82 / 73 / 78 |

The Sixpack makes sense for long highway runs up I-5 or over Highway 50 to Tahoe with quick fuel stops. The Daytona is the quicker car and suits drivers who can charge at home in the Sacramento area and want electric running costs. *Dodge estimates.
Every Charger trim family comes as a 2-door coupe or a 4-door sedan, and Dodge calls the Charger the only four-door muscle car. Both body styles use a rear liftback hatch instead of a conventional trunk, with fold-flat rear seats; a power hatch comes on Scat Pack Plus.
| Spec | 2027 Charger |
